Challenge
Stalking is a serious crime, yet its warning signs are often misunderstood or dismissed as romantic gestures. Gloucestershire Constabulary wanted to challenge these perceptions, help people recognise harmful patterns of behaviour and encourage those affected to seek support. The challenge was to cut through familiar cultural narratives without trivialising the issue, creating a campaign that would reach people across the county, start conversations and make four critical warning signs easier to recognise and remember.
Solution
Working with Gloucestershire Constabulary, we developed an integrated creative campaign built around FOUR: Fixated, Obsessed, Unwanted, Repeated. We created the fractured FOUR identity, campaign messaging, animations, social and digital assets, and out-of-home advertising across buses and street furniture. The wider campaign brought these elements together with a separately produced, rom-com-inspired film and podcast collaboration. By turning familiar romantic conventions on their head, the campaign delivered a memorable public awareness message that reached audiences across Gloucestershire and attracted independent recognition.
